Over 500 million people on Facebook alone tells a story; people like to get their personal information out to their “friends”. Wrapmail (WRAP) makes it possible to SEND your Facebook information out with the regular emails you send anyway, for FREE. After signing up for wrapmail users get access to the wrapmail dashboard which includes a wrapmaker in addition to various tracking tools, webmail and customized settings. The wrapmaker consists of a number of empty shells from which users can make their email template(s). Then after routing emails through a wrapmail server or sending from the wrapmail dashboard using their existing email address the emails will arrive wrapped with whatever images and embedded links the user used to make the template. This goes way beyond just making a wrap from a Facebook profile, users could make a variety of wraps for different occasions or interests such as: party-invitations (using images of the people inviting and/or attending, image of where the party is to be held with an embedded link to Google Maps etc), personal email stationary, wraps based on interests such as sports, hobbies etc, wraps from vacations, political wraps, humorous wraps…the imagination is the only barrier! Quite a few Facebook users also use Twitter, YouTube, MySpace, Flickr and other social networks so why not just make a social network wrap? One can make several wraps (all free) and then pick a specific wrap for a specific email or rotate all the wraps so every email has a different frame around it. There are even those who use wrapmail and send a heavy volume of emails that sell advertising space in the wrap! We actually have no idea where this will end up as the public at large surely will come up with wraps and usage of these that we never thought of.
The basic idea behind wrapmail is to utilize the facts that all businesses have websites and employees that send emails every day. These emails can become complete marketing tools and help promote, brand, sell and cross-sell in addition to drive traffic to the website and conduct research.
WrapMail can also be used to create personal email stationary based on their social networks (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, MySpace) hobbies, interests etc for anyone’s personal email.
Wrapmail is available for free at www.wrapmail.com and wrapped emails arrive with no red x!
