WrapMail today signed Hotell Ivar Assen, Hareid Hotell and Sagafjord Hotell in Norway. These hotels should start wrapping early next week.

WrapMail, Inc. has been selected as a finalist for the South Florida Business Journal’s 2009 Technology Awards in the Interactive Marketing category.

The Technology Awards was created to honor the area’s best technology-based companies, the CEOs or CIOs leading the way, and the companies making the best use of a technology in South Florida. We looked for growing startup companies, trend-setting innovations, products and services to highlight. Our judging team – led by our editorial department, along with Mark Smith, COO of 3Cinteractive; Mark Wyllie, executive director of InternetCoast; Travis Berger, VP and president-elect of the South Florida Interactive Marketing Association; and Chris Burgio, president of the South Florida Technology Alliance – selected three outstanding finalists in each category from the scores of nominations received.

On Nov. 5, WrapMail, Inc. and all of the finalists will be honored at a special awards luncheon at Jungle Island, at 1111 Parrot Jungle Trail, in Miami.

Change The Spreadsheet & New MLMs

WrapMail is on a quest to change the paradigm of how companies use their email as a media tool.  During this journey we have spoken to a number of smart people in media, specifically, electronic media about our college program and the primary advice we get is ‘it has to fit on the spreadsheet.’  This refers to the spreadsheet that the entry level media buyer slaves over when preparing a media plan for one of the agency’s clients.  Right now, we don’t fit on the spreadsheet because our category does not exist.  So we are here to say – change the damn spreadsheet!!  I am confident that we will uncover the agency that is entrepreneurial enough to see the opportunity that lies within our college email ad network and will simply add a line to the spreadsheet labeled ‘email ad network.’

We are moving ever closer to this being a reality with Broward College and are in discussions with two consumer brands to be the first to advertise.  It is too early to say who they are, but we can tell you that they are a consumer electronics manufacturer and a QSR that serves a type of food that college kids love.  More to come on that front as it develops.

WrapMail Lite Launches

We are pleased to announce the official launch of WrapMail Lite for independent consultants in multilevel marketing companies. Independent consultants now have access to the same powerful email marketing software that WrapMail Pro clients use. After signing up for the web-based system, reps will choose their affiliation or network marketing group by selecting a professionally designed wrap which they can customize with their picture, personal web site link & contact info, then, they can send emails and track their activity.

Currently, there are more than 30 companies that reps can choose wraps from with plans to have more than 100 multilevel marketing companies in the system by the end of January. The Wrap can be linked back to the sender’s unique web site, blog, or the corporate site. When the Wrap is clicked, the system will report who is clicking on the sender’s Wrap and when. With an estimated 15 million people in the U.S. involved in network marketing and more than 68 million worldwide, we thought this was a natural product for us to launch. Additionally, given the current economic conditions, we expect the activity in MLMs to increase and WrapMail Lite is a very inexpensive tool for independent reps to use to grow their business.

Launch of WrapMail Lite for MLM, Network Marketing and other independent professionals

WrapMail has just launched WrapMail Lite. The offering is quite simple:

A complete web-based email system where users when they sign up pick their affiliation, type in their unique URL and pay either monthly ($4.95) or annually ($49.50). Templates are already in the system for YTB, Intelatrader and Dubai MLM – within 2 weeks there will be templates for the 25 most popular MLM’s. The templates can be personalized with the distributors image and two lines of text (name and number for example). The wrap that will surround every email sent will already contain the users unique link (embedded to avoid the RED X) so that they are credited if someone clicks and becomes a new rep or customer.

Independent Professionals Unite!

WrapMail will be launching a new service, WrapMail Lite, within the next 30 days targeted to independent professionals. Please allow me to define independent professional.  An independent professional may be someone that works in network marketing (Arbonne, Avon, Mary Kay, etc…), as an eBay seller, a real estate agent or any other professional typically associated with a group affiliation.  See below for a preview of the sign up page:
